"The trim on my attic had to be removed and was pretty much destroyed. The tech put the broken pieces back on and left dirt stains all around the entry point. The techs did not have foot coverings. They instead used a very dirty drop cloth that only covered about 80% of their path. I covered the rest with a clean tarp I had. Overall the A/C is working as expected, but I wasn't very happy with the way my attic trim was left. Still haven't heard when you are coming back to fix it."

This was installed MARCH 2019 and this AUG 2020 was the first appointment Pardee kept to change the filters. UNSATISFACTORY at best . Then the sales person was upset because we would. It allow him in. Get a grip folks! DO NOT Ever send a sales person to my residence again. Then they wanted to sit in my driveway for 30 mins WTF? They do t know the age of our newly replaced water heater but were pecking for something to sell...you have been told"

"I had to make three phone calls just to set up my appointment for an emergency service I have a annual service plan with party have had for almost a decade and this time I had an issue and the information I got from your phone operator was different from the information your tech provided when your tech arrived he came to hours earlier than the arranged time and he proceeded to tell my wife that there was an issue with our ductwork that it was too small and that is blowing a hole through it because it was too small turns out that was not the problem Im quite disappointed. The issue was that someone in climbing to my attic air handler head set on or put weight on the ductwork snapping the elbow joint Im breaking it dont know when that happened but most of the time it is parties people who are getting back there to that unit all I can say is that your agent this time sort of tried to tape the insulation back around the ductwork but didnt reconnect the elbow joint so it was still blowing most of the air right into the attic. As I mentioned Ive been with party for I think now 11 years maybe 12 for as long as weve owned our home and we are in our 12th youre in the home generally Ive been pleased with the service most of your texts including the last one who came and did our service only about three or four weeks ago did a very fine job he was very fine young man did not attempt to sell me anything this agent Brad came try to solve my problem which was a float pan that was full of water why it was full of water I dont know it wouldve been dry for three years but his claim was it was full of water because our ductwork was too small which is also interesting because its the same duck work its been in the home for almost 40 years and none of your agents has ever said the ductwork was too small in any case as I mentioned the problem was A broken joint broken knuckle . Your tech and I Donely miss diagnosed my problem he only loosely taped back the insulation around a hole and claimed there was nothing that could be done to repair it and we had to get you out there immediately to change our ductwork very disappointed"

"I thought the process would only take about 6 hours. The men came at 9:30 on Monday and except for an "unscheduled trip" stayed til 3:30.. They had to leave to get supplies (lumber to rebuild a platform in the attic since the new unit was larger than the old one). They even picked up a window A/C to lower the temp until Tuesday at 9:30. It still took until 1:30 to finish the work. The men were VERY nice and even vacuumed the area after picking up their "blanket" covers."

"I spoke with the technician prior to his entering my home. Roy said he was not sure of the requirements for the visit. I said, the renters called and mentioned mold was visible in the upstairs unit. I said the previous quote had been for a full tear down and that I was not prepared for that. I asked could he keep it simple for now as I was quoted a $125 fee for the cleaning of the minisplit blower. I also mentioned he was not to discuss any proposals, maintenance recommendations with the AirBnB renters. 15 minutes later I received a call from the AirBnB renter stating he was not comfortable with theother four units needing service and felt they needed to be cleaned. (Roy noted in February, Pardee had a proposal on record for cleaning 4 units). As I do a good portion of my service work on my rental home, I had not broken down these units. When I spoke with Roy, he said he had done two units. I said how would the renters view cleaning two units when they had called me asking for the cleaning of the four minisplits. I said Roy needed to clean the units the renters now asked to be cleaned, he could not leave the home with the renters upset and now expecting him to clean the units in question. I then reached out to a supervisor and repeated the above. I am not upset, I believe this could have been avoided had Roy kept his communications with the homeowner and deferring any concerns from the renters to calling me."

Bad news was that he let us know that the motor on my unit was broken and for the Fourth of July weekend might not be Able to get it in time! I called the next morning to check and the bad News was that it wont be here for three days because of the Fourth of July weekend. You guys called back saying they were going to send someone out with a small window unit that I could use over the weekend. They showed up within an hour and had the air conditioner up and running. "Arrived 2 hours late. Technician Brad was accompanied by another individual who we assumed was an assistant or apprentice, later identified as Greg Healey. We were shocked when told our less than 6-year old Lennox system (installed and maintained by Pardee) needed a $1,500 replacement part. We were then taken aback when it then became clear that Greg was actually a salesman and had come along to attempt to sale us a brand new system. Strongly recommended getting a whole new system, even though ours was less than 6 years old. Focused on the "Advantage" plan which required a lot of questions on our part to finally discern it was a lease with monthly payments forever. Later emailed us proposals for systems with purchase prices of nearly 50% to 100% higher than the supposedly high quality Lennox system Pardee sold us less than six years ago. Brad and Greg were both very nice, but after they left we became more and more suspicious that Pardee sent a sales rep with the tech. Obvious goal of the visit was to sell us a new system -- why else would a sales rep come with the service tech? . We felt we could not trust the diagnosis or repair estimate. We obtained a second opinion and received a repair quote that was less than 2/3 of the Pardee repair quote, and affirmed no need to replace whole system. The second source performed the service, and we will be getting service from that organization from now on. Pardee has definitely gone way downhill since selling out to Service Experts, and we can no longer trust the integrity of their recommendations or service."

He found out he had tripped a switch on the unit while replacing the fan. Just poor follow-up on the job performed and not looking at the small details. "Last I heard, Clarence and James were researching the type of HVAC system would be best and fill the requirement of being a quiet unit. I was interested in a Heil, rated #3 for being quiet. I also expressed by dissatisfaction with having to have a third air conditioner in 15 years. In March, I asked the service tech about the life expectancy and he though it would last another couple of years. Pardee has serviced both the HAVC systems every six months since they were put in. For the last two years, I have had the issue that after I have my 6 months service, I have to call for service two more times at one months intervals because the back up keeps shutting off. This time, Clarence told me the coil was rusted and need to be replaced and the system was leaking coolant. How in two months could the system go from OK to replacement? I was willing to entertain a quote from James and told him that Clarence was the only thing Pardee had going for them. I also told him I was getting three quotes, I wanted no messing around, and his best offer. If I had purchased another unit from Pardee, Clarence was going to be the only person working on it. I have not heard anything from either of them. Since I have no idea how fast the coolant will leak out, I felt I needed to act on this promptly. Therefore, I have gone with another company."
